About the Journal
The Brazilian Journal of Telehealth (ISSN 2238-3581) is the official scientific publication of the Brazilian Association of Telemedicine and Telehealth for publishing papers concerning Telemedicine and Telehealth. BJT is biannual, and is launched in January and in July.
The Journal publishes papers of qualified Brazilian and foreign authors. Those papers are written in Portuguese or English languages as a rule, with a mandatory abstract in English; eventually, at the discretion of the editors, texts may be written in Spanish. In order to be published, an article must comply with the instructions described at the website.
Brazilian Journal of Telehealth was created by UERJ Telehealth Laboratory in 2012.
BTJ’s quotes should be shortened to J Bras Tele.
BJT takes no responsibility for the opinions expressed in signed articles.
Mission
Disseminating technical and scientific research papers related to tele-education in health and telecare.

Current Issue
A realização do 8° Congresso Brasileiro de Telemedicina e Telessaúde - CBTms - no último mês de novembro de 2017 foi marcada por iniciativas importantes para o crescimento e desenvolvimento da telemedicina, telessaúde e educação a distância em saúde no Brasil. Liderados pela presidente, a Profa Dra Ana Emilia F. Oliveira, os membros da Associação Brasileira de Telemedicina e Telessaúde, promotora do evento, trabalharam ativa e incansavelmente ao longo dos anos de 2016 e 2017, de forma a congregar todos aqueles que tem atuado na área. Assim, conseguiu-se reunir integrantes da academia, do setor público (MS) e grandes, médias e pequenas empresas, com uma atenção especial dada às startups do setor.
